I have lived in a community that is majority Mennonite for a number of years. The Mennonite churches are many times the first to offer aid in local situations too.

Gee, complaining about those who complain - is that really a good thing? With friends undergoing chemo and radiation, I hope I know what's important - being there for them - and what's not: my own aches and pains and temporary "woe is me" moments.

Agreed that children are a gift from God; however, there are so many children already here whose lives would change so much if they were adopted! What a shame that a family so focused on children doesn't see that and adopt (of course, the state would have a limit to the number of adoptees. . .).
